The Tee Lounge ("we," "us," or "our") operates a self-serve, 24/7 indoor golf simulator facility in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and the associated website and booking system. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Contact information: your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
- Billing address: collected to support payment processing, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
- Booking details: the date, time, duration, and party size of your reservations.
- Payment information: card payments are processed by Authorize.Net. Your full card number and security code are sent directly to Authorize.Net and are never stored on or transmitted through our own servers. We retain only a payment-processor token and limited transaction details (such as amounts and transaction identifiers).
- Verification data: we use Twilio to send one-time codes to confirm your phone number.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your bookings and account.
- To verify your identity and phone number.
- To process payments and authorize a refundable security deposit hold.
- To send you booking-related communications, including verification codes, door access codes, and reservation updates.
- To protect our facility, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
SMS / Text Messaging
If you opt in to text messages, we send account- and booking-related SMS messages (such as verification codes, door access codes, and reservation updates) to the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to book, but some features (such as receiving your door access code by text) may require an alternative delivery method. We do not sell or share your mobile information or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, including Authorize.Net (payment processing), Twilio (phone verification and messaging), and our hosting provider. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and PCI-compliant, tokenized payment handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
